Who Already Got Vaccinated Against COVID-19?

Celebrities Vaccinated: On March 1, the government launched the nationwide vaccination drive for everyone above 60 years of age and those aged between 45-59 with co-morbidities.

While on one hand, there are some celebrities who have raised their doubts and concerns about the vaccine, many have accepted the vaccine with a smile and also inspired the masses to get vaccinated.

As most of us are waiting for our age group to be announced to take the Covid19 vaccine, here's a list of celebrities who got their first jab already.

1. Hema Malini

One of the first celebrities who got the COVID-19 Vaccine was the dream girl, Hema Malini. Malini is 72 years old and has taken the first jab of the novel coronavirus vaccine. She also took a picture with the medical workers and shared her experience online too.

Hema Malini tweeted the pictures of herself and wrote, "I have taken the Covid vaccine along with the public at Cooper Hospital."

2. Shilpa Shirodkar

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shirodkar received both her shots of the Covid19 Vaccine in Dubai. She was one of the first celebrities to get it outside the country. After the vaccine, she tweeted, "Vaccinated and safe! The new normal... here I come 2021. Thank you, UAE."

3. Meghna Naidu

Meghna Naidu who married Portuguese tennis player Luis Miguel Reis, got her shot in Dubai. Naidu had relocated after getting married and she got the vaccine along with her husband. She encouraged more people to take the vaccine and wrote in a tweet, "1st shot of Vaccination done. Thank you, Dubai - UAE, for such an amazing and organized service and also for making sure all of us living here feel super safe !!! Luis and me got the vaccine not only for ourselves but for everyone around us to feel and be safe If you get a chance to be vaccinated, please don't hesitate. Do it for you. Do it for others around you !!!"

4. Neena Gupta

The 61-year-old actor posted a video of her receiving the first jab of the vaccine at the Hinduja Hospital captioned as "I got vaccinated". Gupta was seen saying she's "scared" as a nurse gears up to administrate the vaccine in the video that she shared. Check out the details.

5. Shabana Azmi

Taking to her Twitter handle, Shabana Azmi shared a video in which she wrote the caption stating that she has taken the vaccine and that others should go take that jab soon.
