Bunty Aur Babli 2 release date: The notorious cons Bunty and Babli are back, or are they? A sequel to the hit 2005 film, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is all set for a November release. This time around though, the original duo is chasing "fake" Bunty and Babli who are using their iconic identity to run cons.

The original Baunty Aur Babli was directed by Shaad Ali and featured Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also had a cameo in the film. While Mukerji will be seen essaying her role in the sequel too, Saif Ali Khan has stepped into the shoes of Abhishek Bachchan and Pankaj Tripathi seems to have taken over from Amitabh Bachchan. But there's more to the cast.
Actors Siddhant Chaturvedi, known for his work in the film Gully Boy, and television actor Sharvari Wagh will play the new age "Bunty-Babli" who execute high profile cons. The duo's crimes force the original Bunty and Babli out of their retirement, in order to reclaim their identity and to get the cops off their back. Will they succeed though?
Bunty Aur Babli was immensely popular for its soundtrack, featuring music by trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by Gulzar. For the sequel, the musician trio is back on the team, however, lyrics for this album have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Where to watch Bunty Aur Babli 2
Following the footsteps of Sooryavanshi, Kurup and Annaatthe, this Yash Raj films comedy is also headed for a theatrical release.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 will premiere in theatres near you on November 19. However, if you are planning to watch the film on OTT then you may have to wait a bit longer. So far, there is no news on the digital release schedule of the film.
