Bhumi Pednekar tests negative: Bala actor Bhumi Pednekar confirmed that she has been tested negative for COVID-19 on Saturday, April 17.
Pednekar shared the news with her fans through her Instagram by sharing her picture of herself.
The caption of the post read, "Am ➖ but super ➕ about life ✔️ #NoCorona #HealthyAndWise #IsolationOver". Fans congratulated the actor for finally testing negative for the virus after 12 days of being in isolation.
Some of the comments on the post read as "Thank God you are finally covid -ve 🥺" and "Caption is motivating ✨❤️", while one of the fans also suggested she donate her plasma to help other patients.
Bhumi Pednekar tested positive for COVID-19 on April 5, joining a lot line of other celebrities who also tested positive for the virus. The actor previously informed about her condition saying that she had isolated herself and was following all the protocols suggested by her doctor.
She also asked her fans to take precautions writing, "Wear a mask and keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour."
Recently many celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Tara Sutaria, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aryan and many others have tested positive for Coronavirus.
Apart from Pednekar, Katrina Kaif has also tested negative for the virus today and informed her fans through Instagram writing "Negative ( everyone who checked up on me thanks u, it was really sweet felt a lot of ) (sic),".
Pednekar has been working with Rajkumar Rao on her upcoming film Badhai Do, the sequel of the 2018 film Badhai Ho, which is set to release on the big screen in the latter half of the year. The actor will also be seen in Karan Johar's Takht which may come out in December this year at the beginning of 2022.
The actor is known for her acting performances in films like Saand Ki Aankh, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and many more. She also won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor - Female, for her role in Saand Ki Aankh which she shared with Taapsee Pannu.
