From Cast To Plot: Details About 'Bhediya' That You Need To Know

After the immense success of Shraddha Kapoor's Stree in 2018 and releasing Roohi in 2021, producer Dinesh Vijan is coming with Bhediya as the next instalment for his horror-comedy universe. The movie stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy universe began with chudail Stree who abducted men and went to a ghost Afza who abducts brides from their honeymoon. The third supernatural creature in the universe is a werewolf that will soon be coming to the screens near you. Bhediya is the story of a young man who is bitten by a wolf on a rather unique night which turns him into a shape-shifting wolf and creates trouble for him.

Bhediya Plot And Cast

In the official ">trailer of the film, we see Bhaskar Sharma getting bitten badly by a wolf in the jungle. However, after the incident, he starts experiencing that his senses have become really strong and has started acting like a wolf. His friends assume that the wolf bite has made his instincts like that of a wolf. However, one full moon night, Bhaskar shape-shifts into a wolf and runs to the jungle. On telling his friends about his transformation into a wolf, everybody gets worried. Bhaskar also does not want this dual life of a human during the day and a wolf at night and decides to find a cure to reverse it.

The movie is shot in various locations of Arunachal Pradesh like Ziro, Sagalee and Pakke-Kessang district and 70% cast is of the movie is from Arunachal Pradesh like rapper K4 Kheko who has also written and sung the theme song of the film, and Paalin Kabak who plays Bhaskar's friend Jomin. The other cast members include Varun Dhawan as Bhaskar Sharma, Kriti Sanon as Dr Anika Mittal, Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal. Shraddha Kapoor will also make a special appearance in the film as Stree.

The movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously in theatres all over India on November 25.
