Iconic spinoff series Better Call Saul will be coming to an end with its final season this year. The trailer for the sixth season came out on March 11 and gave a good glimpse into what fans can expect while keeping a veil on how the show will end.

The crime drama series premiered in 2015 as a prequel, sequel and spin-off of Breaking Bad. Since 2015, the show has aired 5 seasons. The show follows the separate stories of Saul Goodman, a former con artist and lawyer turned defence attorney, and Mike Ehrmantraut, a retired police officer who ends up working for a drug cartel as its henchman. As we know from the source series, Saul and Goodman's paths soon cross leading to a long time association.

Better Call Saul is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the 2000's and features Saul Goodman, formerly known as Jimmy McGill, a con artist who turned into a lawyer. After struggling initially, he gets hired by Hamlin, Hamlin and McGill co-owned by Chuck McGill, his brother. There he gets associated with a drug lord to give him advice and security. The show follows his transformation from Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman and his complex romance with another lawyer Kim Wexler.

The show stars Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring and Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut. The series is created by Vince Gilligan, who also directed Breaking Bad, and Peter Gould. The critically acclaimed series has bagged many prestigious awards like the Critic's Choice Awards, Screen Actor's Guild Award, Golden Globe, Writer's Guild Of America and Emmy over the five seasons.

But this dazzling journey is coming to an end this year, as season 6 will be the final instalment of Better Call Saul.

Better Call Saul season 6 will release on April 18 this year and is expected to have 13 episodes, that will be divided into two parts. The first part of Season 6, consisting of seven episodes, will be aired from April 18 to May 23. The second part, consisting of six episodes, will be airing from July 11 to August 15.
