The iconic spinoff series of Breaking Bad has come to its final season. The show Better Call Saul had the viewers on the tip of their toes all five seasons and will soon be releasing its sixth and final season this year. The trailer for the upcoming season was released on March 11 this year. It gave the viewers a good glance at what they can expect this season.
It is a crime-drama series that premiered in the year 2015 and is a prequel and spin-off of Breaking Bad. Ever since the first episode, the show follows the stories of Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk), who is a former con artist and lawyer turned defence attorney; Mike Ehrmantraut (played by Jonathan Banks), who is a retired police officer ending up working with a drug cartel as their henchman.
The prequel takes both the characters' narratives separately and through a parallel storytelling way. However, fans who have watched the original series know that at some point in future their paths are going to cross leading to a long time association.

The spin-off show is set in Albuquerque in New Mexico and shows the period of the 2000s. In the show, Goodman struggles a bit initially but is soon hired. There he gets associated with the drug lord, who gives him advice and security. Goodman's former name is Jimmy McGill and the show expands on this transformation from McGill to Goodman, while giving space to show his romance with another lawyer Kim Wexler.
Better Call Saul New Season Cast
- Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, the main lead who later transforms into Goodman and becomes a defence attorney.
- Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, who is his brother of Jimmy and is the one who gives him a job which later strengthens Jimmy's association with the drug lord.
- Rhea Seehorn is Kim Wexler, another lawyer and has a complex romantic relationship with Jimmy.
- Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, is a quiet and intelligent member of the Salamanca drug organisation.
- Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring, who is a Chilean-American major narcotics distributor.
- Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, a marine corps veteran and police officer from Philadelphia, who works for Fring.
-The co-creator of Better Call Saul recently confirmed that Bryan Cranston, who will be playing the role of Walter White and Aaron Paul, who will be playing the role of Jesse Pinkman is going to be the guest stars in the upcoming show. Although, their role will not be extensive.
Season six of the show is expected to release on April 18, this year and it will be divided into two parts. The first part will have seven episodes and the second one will have six episodes.
