Best Taapsee Pannu films to watch: Taapsee Pannu is kickstarting the year 2022 with a quirky thriller Looop Lapeta, releasing on February 4, 2022. The actor will be seen alongside Taahir Raj Bhasin, best known for his work in films like 83 and Mardaani, in this film. Directed by Aakash Bhatia, Looop Lapeta is the Hindi adaptation of a German movie named Run Lola Run.
The trailer of Looop Lapeta was launched on Thursday, introducing us to Savi, who is tired of running away from her past, and yet has to run as if her life depends on it, in order to save that of her "useless boyfriend". There seems to be a SciFi angle to the film as well as Savi and her boyfriend seem to be stuck in a loop that restarts the minute he ends up dead.
The premise of Looop Lapeta sounds unique and engaging, but it is still nearly three weeks away from its release. So to bid your time, here are five other Taapsee Pannu films that you can watch, or re-watch instead:

Haseen Dillruba- Starring Pannu alongside Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane, this film was one of the thrilling OTT releases from the year 2021. In this film, Pannu portrays a role quite different from her other avatars, where she is shown playing the protagonist demanding positive change in her life. Here, she essays the role of a modern wife, who has lots of expectations from her husband, which largely go unfulfilled.
However, the story takes quite a turn once Rani's brother-in-law Neel enters the scene and she starts an affair with him. How Rani's marriage bears the brunt of this affair forms the crux of the story.
Manmarziyaan: This 2018 romantic movie by Anurag Kashyap features Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan, and Vicky Kaushal in lead. The film offers a refreshing take on modern day relationships and the tendency to be indecisive of our generation. Written by Kanika Dhillon, Manmarziyaan features Pannu as Rumi, a headstrong girl who is torn between love and marriage.
Manmarziyaan premiered at the Toronto International Film in 2018 and was released internationally by the name "Husband Material". Rumi(Taapsee) is in love with Vicky(played by Kaushal), however, she gets married to Robbie(played by Bachchan). As time passes, she realises who she wants to be with. Annabelle Sethupathi: This is the kind of comedy you might like watching if you are not expecting much from the cast of the movie and just want to watch something breezy and pleasant. Also featuring Vijay Sethupathi, the film is a supernatural comedy that can be viewed with family.
We are introduced to Rudra and her family that gets caught up in the cursed house which has several invisible occupants. The story travels back in time and brings out the love story between a king and a foreign visitor to his kingdom, their marriage, and Rudra's discovery of tragedy that marred the history of the beautiful palace where she has been trapped.
Badla: Pannu's second film with the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was a thriller all about, yup you guessed it, revenge. The 2019 film by Sujoy Ghosh was a Hindi remake of the Spanish movie, The Invisible Guests. Badal Gupta(played by Bachchan) is a lawyer hired by a businesswoman named Naina Sethi who stands accused of murdering her lover.
The story begins after Naina finds herself locked in a room with her lover lying dead next to her. What follows is a series of interrogations between the lawyer and the client and their race against time to win the case and prove Naina innocent.
Naam Shabana: This action thriller by Shivam Nair has been written by Neeraj Pandey as a prequel to Baby where Pannu plays the role of Shabana. The film showcases how Shabana was inducted as a special agent and the tragedy that motivates her to choose a daring path in her life.
The movie also stars Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher all in supporting roles. The prequel seemed fitting as Pannu's role in Baby had been much appreciated by viewers.
