Lately, a number of popular Bengali actors joined the party aiming to come to power after the Assembly Elections. Joining the bandwagon, the television actor became the latest addition to the list.

- Actor Parno Mittra will represent West Bengal‘s Baranagar constituency in the Assembly Elections.
- Mittra started off her acting career with the Bengali TV series Khela that first aired in 2007.
- She won the Best Actress award for Mohona, a Bengali Tv serial.
- The 34-year-old actor rose to prominence for her role in the 2011 release National Award-winning Bengali film Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona.
