Babita Phogat Baby Boy named Yuvraaj: Wrestler and BJP leader Babita Phogat, who gave birth to a baby boy on January 11, has named her newborn Yuvraaj.
Taking to Instagram, the athlete posted an adorable picture of her baby boy sleeping comfortably. Along with it, the new mom wrote, "It's YUVRAAJ @babyyuvrajsuhag. Welcome to the world. Life comes a full circle when you see for yourself the new life you made."

On January 11, this year, Commonwealth Games medallist Phogat had shared the picture of the newborn and wrote: "Meet our little SONshine. Believe in dreams; they do come true. Ours came dressed in blue!"

Her husband, Vivek Suhag had also taken to his Instagram handle and shared one picture in which the new mom could be seen cradling her son with Suhag by their side. Phogat and Suhag, also a wrestler, had tied the knot in November 2019. "Meet our little angel he has arrived finally. We are really happy and proud of the blessing," wrote Suhag in a tweet.

Last year in July, Phogat was appointed as deputy director in the Sports and Youth Affairs Department in Haryana. She had announced in November last year that the couple were expecting their first child. "Every single moment that I spend being your wife, I realize how lucky I am to live such an amazing life. You are my happy place. You complete me. I'm excited & waiting to start this new chapter in my life," Phogat had posted on social media.

Phogat, who won India’s first wrestling medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, is the daughter of Mahavir Phogat, a noted wrestling coach. His journey inspired the 2016 Bollywood blockbuster Dangal starring Aamir Khan. She joined BJP in 2019.
