Athiya Shetty Addresses Rumours About Her Marriage To Cricketer KL Rahul

Actor Athiya Shetty addressed rumours about her upcoming nuptials to cricketer KL Rahul on her Instagram account on Wednesday. Despite the fact that the two have been dating for a while, this is not the first time that online rumours about their wedding have appeared. But neither Rahul nor Athiya have confirmed such reports. 

Athiya responded on her Instagram Stories to recent rumours that the couple's wedding would happen within the next three months. She wrote, “I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.”

Rahul recently underwent surgery in Munich, therefore Athiya and Rahul recently travelled there together. Athiya and KL Rahul are rumoured to get married soon, most likely within the next few months, according to various media reports. Actor Suniel Shetty was recently questioned about the rumours surrounding the wedding and whether or not planning for it had begun in the family. 

Athiya's brother, actor Ahan Shetty, discussed the rumoured nuptials in May. Speaking to the Hindi-language daily newspaper Dainik Bhaskar, he said, “As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?” 

When Rahul wished the star on her birthday with a social media post that included both Athiya and himself, the two, reportedly, made their relationship official. Additionally, he reportedly has a good relationship with Athiya's family. He even went to the Tadap premiere and posed for photos with them. Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya was last spotted in Motichoor Chaknachoor with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

In the past few months, there have been numerous occasions when rumours have circulated that actor Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul will soon be married. Although they have been dating for a while, they haven't discussed their wedding plans in public. Eventually, Athiya's father, actor Suniel Shetty, cleared up the confusion and said whether or not a wedding is actually planned for the near future.

When Suniel Shetty was questioned by Radio Mirchi if the family had begun planning for the aforementioned wedding, he answered that nothing had been scheduled as of yet. He stated in May that it is his daughter's choice.
