Aranyak Cast, Release Date And More: All You Need To Know About The Series

Aranyak cast, release date and more: Actor Raveena Tandon is making her debut in the OTT space with the upcoming web series Aranyak. Set in a small hilly town named Sironah, Aranyak deals with a local police officer on her way out, who suddenly finds herself investigating a high profile case.

Sharing the trailer of Aranyak on Instagram, Tandon wrote in her post on November 22, "Ek gunaah, aur itne saare gunegaar. Kya SHO Kasturi pata laga paayegi kaun sach bol raha hai, aur kaun jhoot?" Tandon also asked viewers to be prepared to know Sironah's "truth".

Cast of Aranyak

Raveena Tandon will be seen essaying the role of a Station house officer (who is the officer in charge of a police station) named Kasturi Dogra in this series. Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee, who is known to the Hindi speaking audience for his work in Vidya Balan's thriller Kahani, will be seen in the role of cop Angad Malik, who arrives in Sironah to replace Dogra.

The series also features Ashutosh Rana and Meghna Malik in important roles. Aranyak has been directed by Vinay Waikul.

What is Aranyak about?

In a sleepy town named Sironah, a female cop is about to hand over the charge as SHO to her replacement when a foreigner woman approaches the police station to file a missing complaint about her daughter and boyfriend. The woman fears that her daughter might be in danger. The case conflicts Dogra, who has put her life aside for her duty but was never awarded a big investigation. While Dogra cancels her leave to be a part of the investigation, Malik makes it clear to her that he will be leading it.

As the duo digs deeper into the case, many dirty secrets get unearthed, which have the potential to cause a social and political scandal in the town. Will they manage to rescue the missing child?
