Anushka and Vamika join daddy: Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli and daughter Vamika have reportedly reached Ahmedabad. The couple with their baby girl has reportedly left Mumbai as Kohli is joining his cricket team to play the match against England in Ahmedabad's Motera Cricket Stadium (starting February 24).
Seems Vamika has already started touring with her dad. Kohli and Sharma, who recently welcomed their first child on January 11, took their month-old baby to her first cricket match as audience.
According to media reports, both mother and daughter have reached Ahmedabad to cheer for Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, who had been on paternity leave and rejoined the team beginning of this month. Currently, he is playing the second match part of the 3rd Test between India and England in Ahmedabad on February 25. Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium is now renamed as Narendra Modi stadium.
Bollywood photographer Viral Bhayani shared a post on Instagram, saying, “#AnushkaSharma arrived today morning in Ahmedabad with baby Vamika to be part of this historic match at #moterastadium.”
The couple, who has been married for over three years, had introduced their baby girl to the world with a post on social media. Sharma wrote, “We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level!"
