Meet Anupama Parameswaran, Actor Linked To Newlywed Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah

Anupama Parameswaran: As soon as the news about India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah's wedding broke out, fans began speculations about the bride-to-be.

However, in no time, Sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan was confirmed to be getting married to the cricketer. The couple tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in Goa, on 15 March.

Amid all the speculations of Bumrah's wedding, another name kept popping up on social media. Actor Anupama Parameswaran was linked to the Indian cricketer on the microblogging site, Twitter. Reportedly, Sunita Parameswaran, Anupama’s mother debunked the reports of her daughter dating the renowned Indian cricketer.

• Anupama Parameswaran, who made her acting debut in 2015, has majorly appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films. 
• The 25-year-old actor’s maiden project Premam, a Malayalam film, was a huge commercial success.
• Later on, she featured in the Telugu remake of the film which goes by the same title. 
• Parameswaran won the  South Indian International Movie Award in the category Best Supporting actress for her role in the aforementioned film.
• The actor made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the film Kodi, which featured her alongside well-known actor, Dhanush.
• In 2020, she starred in a rom-com film that was released on Netflix, Maniyarayile Ashokan, which also marked her debut as an assistant director. 
• Anupama will next feature a Tamil film, Thalli Pogathey, directed by R Kannan. This film which is slated to release in 2021 also stars Atharvaa and Amitash Pradhan in pivotal roles.
