Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain Wedding: Red Carpet Event Called Off Due To COVID-19

Actor Ankita Lokhande is set to marry her fiance Vicky Jain on December 14. The couple were going to have a red carpet event at the wedding but due to COVID-19 case surge in Mumbai, it has been called off.

As per reports, a source close to Lokhande said that the wedding will now only have their close friends and family members as guests and the ceremony will be an intimate one. The couple have had two days of festivities celebrating the pre-wedding rituals with their friends and family members. Since Saturday, Lokhande and Jain have had their Haldi, mehandi and sangeet ceremony.

Many individuals of the film and television industry were seen in pictures of the festivities. Actor Kangana Ranaut, with whom Lokhande starred in the film Manikarnika, was also seen at the cocktail party hosted by the couple. Ranaut posted a picture with Lokhande and wrote, "Ankita Lokhande will always have my heart, love you girl."

Lokhande and her fiance also shot a pre-wedding video. The video was titled Sands of Time and made by The Wedding Story. The actor have a glimpse of it to her fans on her social media handle. The couple have been dating each other for a while now. They had shared some pictures earlier this month which sparked the wedding rumours. Both Jain and Lokhande were seen in traditional marathi outfits sitting for a pre-wedding ritual at their house.

The pictures from their on-going wedding ceremony have started to flood the social media timelines. Vicky Jain was seen making a grand entry in vintage car surrounded by his friends and family members. The picture of a hoarding at the wedding venue was also shared by paparazzi which read, " Welcome to Vikaas and Ankita's Vows of Love wedding celebrations" The hashtag used by the couple is AnVikiKahaani.
