Angad Bedi Reveals Why He Doesn't Want To Show Daughter Mehr's Face On Social Media

Bollywood couple Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia have not exposed their two-year-old daughter Mehr's face to the media, yet.

The reason he says is as parents this is an effort to protect the privacy of their baby girl. Recently, he opened up about media scrutiny and said that when their little daughter grows up, she is free to be in the limelight if she wants to. But till then, they have a request for the paparazzi to respect their wishes.

Bedi revealed that in the past two years many fans have requested him to show Mehr's picture but he says he feels that "She is her own person" and probably "when she is five or six years old, she will ask us why we are not putting her picture out." He further told IANS that he and Dhupia just want to "secure her" and "if in future she is comfortable with having her imagery out, we are no one to question that. " He added that he and his wife Neha Dhupia would like to protect their daughter till "she is okay with it."

Bedi, who welcomed his first child Mehr Dhupia Bedi in 2018, continued explaining that he doesn't like the situation where pictures get tracked too much and get "impressionable". He also talked about the challenges of receiving too much pressure and how as parents he and Dhupia want to keep her away from the spotlight.

The actor, who has worked in films like Pink and Tiger Zinda Hai, hailed, "I think you have to protect your family, which I try and do to the best of my ability but we have to also understand that we are part of a celebrated profession, which is going to be bound by media scrutiny."

Last year, Bedi had said that he is a changed man after marrying Neha Dhupia.
