The trailer for Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming movie, An Action Hero, has been out. In the movie, he plays an actor whose career turns upside down when he is charged with the murder of a local councillor's brother, and the support of his followers is replaced with a call for a boycott. Malaika Arora, who will return with a special dance number in the movie, is also hinted at in the trailer.
An Action Hero Trailer
The trailer delivers a powerful first impression by showing Khurrana's car being struck by Jaideep's car. The story of the film develops chase scene quickly develops as Ayushmann runs away to London to protect his life from him. Still, he also follows him there as London cops get in on their argument and a lot of misunderstanding results. Although the trailer features some intriguing ">battle scenes, Jaideep's phrases and the manner he speaks with a Haryanvi accent initially catch the viewer's attention.
About the film, Ayushmann said, "It is a genre breaker for me. It is different from my staple genre of social comedy, and there is no message in it." There is pure excitement. It is a ride on a roller coaster. In this movie, a fantastic man finds himself in a commonplace circumstance. The desire for revenge is a common emotion, but the story is about how a famous person might react if put in that same circumstance, he added.
Jaideep said he loved the script of An Action Hero and said that identifying the hero or the villain won't be easy for people as everyone acts for a different cause. I never considered the character a villain because he has strong reasons behind Ayushmann,” added.
An Action Hero Release Date
Anirudh Iyer, who previously worked as an assistant director on Aanand L Rai's films Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Zero, is the film's director. Neeraj Yadav has written the screenplay of the film. The film is set to release on December 2, 2022.
