Alia Bhatt’s half-brother, Rahul Bhatt, has confirmed her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. He is also a part of the guest list and is looking forward to attending all the functions, he said in an interview.
In the same interview, he jokingly said that he won't be singing and dancing at her sister's wedding. Instead, he would be a rakshak at her wedding since he was a gym instructor by profession and will be there in the capacity of a bouncer.
He also added that Alia would never discuss her love life with him because she was too scared and thought that he would go and beat up the boyfriend instead. But he is very supportive of all the choices Alia has made in life, both personally and professionally.
He confirmed to ET Times that Alia’s mehendi ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 13. The wedding, on the other hand, will be held on April 14 at RK House in Mumbai.

The couple is reportedly planning a wedding reception for their industry colleagues at the end of April. The wedding will be a family affair with only close friends and relatives, as per a report.

Honeymoon
As per rumours, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are expected to fly to South Africa for their honeymoon. But another rumour says that the couple may have to cancel their honeymoon due to work commitments. Bhatt will be travelling to Switzerland to film Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani which will go on for 7–10 days and Kapoor is expected to join her but there are no confirmations yet.
Ranbir-Alia love story
The Highway actor was just 12 when she first met Ranbir for the photoshoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Balika Vadhu. The movie, however, never got made. However, the duo carries fond memories of their first meeting and Alia had been crushing over Ranbir Kapoor since then.
Love bloomed between the two on the sets of Brahmastra where they were cast together. They began shooting for the film in February 2018 and wrapped up on March 29 this year.
