Bhuj The Pride of India release date announced: The release date of Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India was revealed on July 6. The film will have a OTT release, owing to the COVID-19 restrictions that has cast uncertainty on when cinemas will open with full capacity in India.
The war-drama, which also features actors Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk and Sharad Kelkar will release on Independence Day weekend 2021. Set in 1971, Bhuj (Gujarat) the film tells the story of heroes who braved Pakistan's 14 day raid on Bhuj airfield. According to the motion poster of the film shared on social media, Pakistan conducted 35 raids on the Bhuj airfield in the said year, using 92 bombs and 22 rockets. The teaser says that Bhuj: The Pride Of India is "based on extraordinary true events."
Sharing the motion poster and release date of the film on Twitter, the film's lead actor Devgn wrote, "1971. THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT. #BhujThePrideOfIndia releasing on 13th August only on @DisneyplusHSVIP."

The film will be available for streaming from August 13 on Disney+Hotstar.
