Abhinav Kohli Shweta Tiwari rift gets deeper: Television actor Shweta Tiwari has been making headlines since she opened up about her two broken marriages and domestic abuse. Now, her ex-husband Abhinav Kohli has spoken up against her claims saying that she is making false allegations against him. He also refuted the television actor's claims that he had threatened to “ruin” her reputation.
Tiwari, who became a household name with Kasautii Zindagi Kay, revealed in an ">interview recently that her daughter Palak has seen her being abused. “In the lobby of my residential building, he (Abhinav) told me, ‘Ek aurat ki image kharab karne me kya lagta hai, just one post. Just one post, and you will be ruined. After 5 to 6 days, he started posting (on social media), to spoil my reputation," she said
Abhinav Kohli Shweta Tiwari rift deepens:
Reacting to her claims, Kohli told Times of India, "Ruining her image is ruining my image too. Come what may she is still my wife. I am just voicing injustice and injustice done towards my son, no father can tolerate that. My son is my concern. She wants to make it as if I am anti-woman, she wants me to be projected like that."
He further alleged that Tiwari got her arrested on false charges while all he is trying to do is "fighting for my son".
"I am not yet fighting for myself. Shweta has been inhuman to me. I want to tell Shweta, you forget what you did to me. She put me behind bars for 2 nights and on wrong charges and then Palak (Shweta’s daughter) put up a post the next day that he did nothing wrong to me sexually. She later conveniently deleted it. And when I reposted that long letter that Palak had shared she again put up a case against me. She tried to get me arrested on my father’s death anniversary. She didn’t even spare that day knowing how emotional that day is for me. She wanted me to spend that night inside a lockup,” he continued.
Tiwari and Kohli got married in 2013. While the couple called it quits in 2019, the split has been very public and tumultuous. Kohli has time and again accused the actor of not letting him meet their son Reyansh. On the other hand, Tiwari spoke about the "wrong men" she chose in her life. She also claimed how her children have been going through the trauma of her failed relationship and how her younger son, Reyansh, born in 2016, knows about "police".
Tiwari also has a daughter named Palak from her first marriage with Raja Chaudhary. She has previously alleged that she was subjected to domestic violence in her first marriage, which resulted in a divorce when the actor was 27 years old.
