One of the first reviews of this Bengali serial called Aay Tobe Sohochori, reads, "This is one of the best inspiring tv serials I've ever watched... The story is strong, the dialogues are short, apt and crispy... Moreover, the characters are so relatable to our daily life that this show becomes irresistible after each and every episode. There are serious moments, melancholy, sacrifice, longing, desire and comic relief along with humour, satire and with strong message for society and also a pack of mature acting..."

So, it is not surprising that according to the video, a lovestruck man was faster than DC’s Flash as well as more agile than the speed of light. As the couple was about to exchange wedding garlands after saying their wedding vows, her creepy stalker pushed the would-be husband and caught the garland with a jolt. Consent faced an unsolicited backlash when to top it all, the man crushing on the woman threw his hand inside the plate containing the vermilion and smeared it across her forehead. The woman, like all of us, was not only taken aback but must have felt that in this wedding of her dreams, love and obsession could be required but consent is most definitely not.

In the comments thread, one of the awestruck users wrote, “So does the poor husband claim himself to be a refugee as the audience applies for eye-protection? Another user wrote in sadness, “Bold of you to assume that my crush would show up at my wedding.”

Some critics have also pointed out that the video has normalised harassment. Others have forgotten everything about being what we deem as politically correct. Instead, they applauded the reactions of the people around the three people in the video - apart from their facial expressions, nothing changes about the relatives. They do not move an inch. Some other users were too excited to pull off this stunt for real.

But, sadly, the groom got to keep the dowry while not caring about being married to the woman. Indeed, an accidental marriage in a Bengali serial.
