With an awe-inspiring performance at the World Olympic Qualifiers, Dahiya has secured her berth for the much-coveted Paris Olympics, becoming the fifth Indian woman wrestler to achieve this remarkable feat. Her remarkable journey to the Paris Olympics was solidified with a resounding victory over Alexandra Anghel of Romania in the semi-finals, with a commanding score of 8-4.

Dahiya's path to Olympic qualification is truly remarkable. Coming from Rohtak, a vibrant hub for wrestling where champions are born and dreams soar, Dahiya has sharpened her skills at the renowned Sir Chhotu Ram stadium, guided by experienced coaches. Dahiya's journey to clinch the coveted  Olympic quota was laden with challenges and moments of sheer resilience. As a world U-23 bronze medallist, Dahiya showcased her mettle right from the onset of the qualifiers. In a gripping quarterfinal match against the top-seeded Adela Hanzlickova of the Czech Republic, Dahiya displayed her grit by staging a remarkable comeback from a precarious position. Despite facing near defeat as Hanzlickova aimed for a pin, Dahiya rallied back with strategic counters, eventually clinching victory with a score of 7-4.

Undeterred by the initial setback Dahiya's semi-final encounter against Alexandra Anghel further cemented her prowess on the wrestling mat. With a dominant lead of 8-0, Dahiya showcased her tactical brilliance, only to face a spirited resurgence from her Romanian opponent, narrowing the lead to 8-4. However, Dahiya's resolve remained unshaken as she emerged triumphant, securing India's fifth quota for the Paris Olympics.
