There is no doubt in the fact that U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris resonates power and magnificence not only in her endeavours and achievements, but also in what she dons.

She becoming the highest-ranking female official in US history is a testimony to the remarkable stature she possesses. Hence, whatever Kamala does has consistently made statements to the real world about how influential and dynamic she is.

In fact, even her attire reflects how she makes 'statement with style'. The formal blazers, pantsuits and skinny pants she dresses herself in perfectly bring out the strength and grace in her. However, one observation that many of us have made about her wardrobe is her affinity for sneakers, particularly for Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Pairs.

Furthermore, in another interview with Complex, Kamala reiterated and added, “I love my Chucks… You know, I think it's maybe people don't expect it, but also it's a statement about who we really are. Chucks—whatever your background is, whatever language your grandmother spoke—you know, we all at some point or another had our Chucks.”

Kamala has not only broken the traditional formal dressing code for senators by coordinating sneakers with her formal outfits, but also redefined fashion in accordance to her own likes and comfort. The US Vice President proved that one can also look poised, elegant and estimable in their own comfort and wishes when they have the confidence and resolve to carry themselves well and 'forward'. Nevertheless, the willing deviation from the default dressing norm for liberty of choice of clothing can be undoubtedly expected from the 'woman of many firsts', right? After all, she herself told all the ladies out there, "Make sure to wear your shoes, ladies. There's glass everywhere."

In New Hampshire  where Kamala was a part of an event at Mack’s Apples in 2019, the ground was too soft for heels and she had forgotten her own converse at her hotel.
