My journey towards empowering communities began in 2014-15 when I was selected for the SBI Youth for India fellowship program. Assigned to the Local Good Governance project in Madhya Pradesh, I gained invaluable experience in the field of governance, which sparked a passion within me. Also, I got inspired from it, and thus the idea of establishing my own trust was born. I embarked on this path, laying the foundation of Shahalakshya Charitable Trust.
The Shahalakshya Charitable Trust was established on December 15, 2017, with a profound motto: "सक्रीय नागरिक, सक्षम समाज, उन्नत राष्ट्र" (Active Citizens, Empowered Society, Progressive Nation).
Our vision-is to create a developed and prosperous nation having a unique identity in the world, with fully participative, committed and empowered citizens with a strong sense of nationalism and global citizenship.
Our mission- is to make each individual aware of their right and duties, also open directions and opportunities for them to achieve their goals.
To foster positive change and empowerment, the trust has undertaken various initiatives to make a meaningful impact. Through scholarships for deserving students and comprehensive awareness campaigns about government schemes and policies, the trust aims to educate and enlighten individuals. The trust has also set up a digital library equipped with modern technology, offering a vast collection of educational resources, projector, and computer to facilitate self-learning and develop an interest in reading among students.

Our library is regularly used by school students. Also, academic competitions are organised to showcase talent and raise awareness of historical events and current issues. Furthermore, the trust is committed to promoting student safety and empowerment through career guidance, safety workshops, and mentorship programs. In addition to these initiatives, the trust conducts safety and health awareness campaigns for young women and engages in organic farming initiatives to promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship in communities.
Shaping the future of our nation by educating and inspiring young minds to embrace their roles and responsibilities as a good citizen is a crucial aspect of the trust's mission. Teaching today's youth the value of active citizenship, social responsibility, and community engagement is essential for building a progressive nation. By instilling these values in young minds, the trust aims to create a generation of responsible citizens who can contribute positively to society.
The trust is dedicated to creating a positive impact on society by empowering young minds and promoting active citizenship, social responsibility, and community engagement. By providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and support, the trust enables them to take ownership of their futures and make a meaningful impact. Through its various programs, the trust has reached out to numerous students, women, and communities, inspiring them to embrace their roles and responsibilities as good citizens. Additionally, we received seed funding from the SBI Foundation (YFI Sahyog), which has significantly supported our efforts.
