In 2022, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill's Coke Studio song Pasoori took over the world by storm and became one of the most trending Pakistani songs. The audience was still not over it when T-Series decided to make an Indian version of it and Twitter is clearly not impressed.
Sameer Vidwans' directorial Satya Prem Ki Katha will soon be hitting the theatres. Starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in lead roles, this musical romantic drama movie is about two people from completely different worlds who find love after marriage.
As the movie's release date is approaching, the makers are dropping its songs and on Monday, they released the romantic song Pasoori Nu, a remake of the hit 2022 Pakistani song Pasoori. However, the Twitter audience did not seem to like the new version.

Pasoori Nu Song Twitter Reaction
The Indian version of the song is sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar while the original singer of the song, Ali Sethi has helped in lyrics and musical production along with Gurpreet Saini and Rochak Kohli. The Punjabi and Urdu lyrics of the song has been translated to Hindi and have changes in the musical composition as well. The listeners expressed their disappointment with the remake on Twitter.
T-Series is known for making remakes of hit songs like Tune Payal Hai Chankayi, Manike Mage Hithe, Aap Jaisa Koi and Masakali. The audience has often called them out for destroying the original songs with unnecessary remakes and a Twitter user wrote, "T-Series finished destroying all Indian songs. Now they are destroying Pakistani songs too."
Some people pointed out Kartik Aaryan's bad lip-syncing in the video of the song and even speculated that the song may have been added later on. Arijit Singh had earlier sung Pasoori during one of his concerts which left fans wanting more of the song in his vocals. However, this new version has seem to ruin those expectations as well because even Arijit Singh's voice can't save it from the not-so-good composition.
A user pointed out that the song's lyrics and music would have been great if made as an original and not as a Pasoori remake. They said that if the Pasoori part was excluded, the song could have been a great one. T-Series seems to have ruined two songs by mixing them together for this remake.
The audience's reactions are actually based on a lot of remake disasters that the T-Series has committed over the years and has also landed itself in legal trouble for that. It is a fact that certain songs are the best as they are, they don't need any changes to make them better.
Pasoori's intense lyrics, Shae Gill's vocals and the visually appealing video made the track a popular hit. The altered combination only messes up the altogether vibes of the song. Though Ali Sethi was involved in the song-making process, he seems to not have done much to save the authenticity of the original song. The extra chorus of the remake would have made a great song if made separately. That would have saved Pasoori from ruins as well as Satya Prem Ki Katha from disappointing the fans.
