A viral photo of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's daughter Ziva Dhoni praying has captured thousands of hearts on the internet. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Monday's Indian Premier League (IPL) match and cameras caught Dhoni's 5-year-old sitting with folded hands on her mother's lap in hopes his team wins.
Though CSK, the team Dhoni leads as captain, lost to DC by three wickets, Ziva's viral photo emerged a winner. Netizens on Twitter have been sharing snaps of the toddler as she appears to be in deep prayer, with her mother watching on. See below:

"Ziva praying for CSK's victory is the cutest thing I saw today," one user tweeted. "Wish we win this for little Ziva's hope. The cub queen is praying for CSK deeply, so cute to watch and the moment of the day," another wrote.
"When MS Dhoni finally calls it a day at CSK, I will miss Sakshi and Ziva's smiles from the stands..." a tweet read.
Ziva Dhoni Praying, Other Candid Cricket Family Moments Highlight Of The Season
Aside from the excitement around the game, IPL teams this time have amped up their social media presence, much to the delight of cricket fans. CSK for instance, in an Instagram video shared last month on their official channel, showed players and their families enjoying an evening of leisure, with special appearances by next-gen children following their parents around.
Suresh Raina's son Rio and Dhoni's Ziva were highlights, leaving fans gushing as they pottered around the dinner party.
This is not the first time that young Ziva has made headlines. As the daughter of the former captain of India's national men's cricket team, she has been in the spotlight since her birth. Coverage around her is often negative, with Ziva being targeted by trolls on social media every time her father or his team faces loss.
SheThePeople reported last year on how Ziva was at the receiving end of threats after CSK lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last year. Police later held a teen boy from Gujarat who reportedly confessed to posting said threats on Instagram for the little girl.
