Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal Ties The Knot With Choreographer Dhanashree Verma

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot with choreographer fiancé Dhanashree Verma on Tuesday. The couple took to Instagram to share pictures from their wedding.

The caption with their picture read, “We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”

Right after posting the picture, the couple was showered with congratulations from celebrities, friends and fans. Karan Wahi, Prince Narula, Jessi Gill and cricketers Chris Gayle, Dhawal Kulkarni and Kedar Jadhav also wished the couple.

In the picture, Dhanashree is seen wearing a maroon Tarun Tahiliani lehenga and Chahal was wearing an ivory sherwani by the same designer.

The couple had announced their engagement in August this year. Verma in an interview had talked about how she started courting Yuzvendra Chahal. She said that the couple started off with a teacher-student relationship at the starting of lockdown this year.

“During the lockdown, Yuzvendra decided to learn a few new things, including dance. So, he got in touch with me and we started our classes. Slowly we became friends and sort of felt a connect,” she had said.

She also listed out Yuzvendra’s qualities as she called him “humble” and “down-to-earth” person. She also called him a total family guy. “His humility bowled me over. The kind of values I’ve been brought up with, I actually wanted someone like him as my life partner. We both are ambitious and are supportive of each other’s profession. We both are fun-loving, so there’s never going to be a dull moment.”
