Indian YouTuber Bhuvan Bam, who lost both his parents to Covid-19, pens a heart-wrenching note to mourn their demise. On Saturday, the comedian took to Instagram and wrote that his mother and father died due to Covid-19 complications.
Along with a series of photos featuring his parents, Bhuvan Bam wrote that he has lost both his “lifelines to covid”.
"Meri aai mere pass nahi hai, baba mere saath nahi hain. Ab shuru se jeena seekhna padega (My mother and father are not with me anymore, I''ll have to learn to live again)," he wrote in the post.
"Was I a good son? Did I do enough to save them? I’ll have to live with these questions forever,” he added.
Bam’s mother passed away on June 10 almost a month after the death of his father on May 11. In a statement released by Bhuvan’s team, they informed the fans about the YouTuber’s loss.
Celebrities and popular names from YouTube fraternity reached Bhuvan on the comments to share their condolences.
Actor Shriya Pilgaonkar took to the comments and shared her condolences. “Bhuvan, this is in incomprehensible. 😞I’m so ,so sorry. You’ve made them so proud and the joy on their faces says it all. Their blessings will always be there . 🙏🏼Om Shanti . Praying for you to find the strength ,” she wrote.
Director Tahira Kashyap, also the wife of actor Ayushmann Khurrana, said, "So so sorry Bhuvan maybe God give you all the strength."
Film producer Guneet Monga also sent her condolences as she wrote, "They love you too Bhuvan. They love you a lot more". Monga also mentioned that "Parents never leave". and assured Bhuvan that he is "an amazing son and they know that".
Indian YouTuber Tanmay Bhat took to the comments section and wrote, “I love you Bhuvan. Hugs.”.
Bhuvan Bam himself had contracted the virus in November 2020, however, the YouTuber recovered later that month.
The 27-year-old YouTube personality rose to fame after his widely popular BB Ki Vines videos, short comedy sketches involving various characters portrayed by Bhuvan. Later, he appeared in a short film titled Plus Minus, alongside Divya Dutta.
