Only 10% of the world’s total population is left-handed and it has been the same for thousands of years as of now. And most of them are men. That makes women even rarer as left-handed people. And you will be surprised to know that these women did not just become special because of their work, they were also born special. Though, I have to still work hard to be successful, for now I am one of those rare lefty borns. Out of the many famous women, we bring you a few who are lefties:
- Sunny Leone
Who does not know this Bollywood actor who leaves the screen on fire when she comes on it. Well, Sunny Leone is also one of those actors who grew up with their creative side of their brains being more active leaving them to be left-handed.
- Jwala Gutta
One of the women badminton players from the Indian contigent at Rio Olympics 2016, Jwala Gutta plays badminton with her left hand. And while that might look like a tough job for all the many righties out there, for Jwala it is perfectly normal to use her left hand and not the right one.
- Miss Malini
Malini Aggarwal, famous writer and blogger who founded missmalini.com is actually a southpaw too. She scribbles all that Bolllywood news with her left hand and is not she absolutely amazing at that?
- Sarah Jessica Parker
The Hollywood actress, particularly known for her character of Carrie Bradshaw in TV series Sex in the City is also a representative of the southpaw brethren. Parker has won many awards including two Emmy awards, four Golden Globe Awards and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
- Oprah Winfrey
Born in a poor family to an unmarried teenage mother, Oprah had a very difficult childhood. But extraordinarily, she was also born a lefty. Today, she is the richest ever African-American of the 20th century. Her show The Oprah Winfrey Show garnered the most TRPs ever in the history. One of her famous quotes are- The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.
