Yo Yo Honey Singh Domestic Violence Case: Shalini Talwar, wife of the singer filed a complaint against him on Tuesday under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

The Tis Hazari court in Delhi has issued a notice to Honey Singh and sought his response in the case by August 28.
Yo Yo Honey Singh domestic violence case:
- The 'Blue Eyes' singer Hirdesh Singh, popularly known as Yo Yo Honey Singh is accused of domestic violence by his wife Shalini Talwar.
- Talwar filed the case before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tis Hazari Court on Tuesday, August 3. She was reportedly accompanied by Advocates by Karanjawala & co., Apoorva Pandey & GG Kashyap, and Senior Partner Karanjawala & Company, Sandeep Kapur.
- On July 28, the court had issued a notice to Honey Singh passing interim orders in favour of Shalini Talwar. The orders also restrained Singh from disposing of his jointly owned property, his wife's Stridhan etc.
- Honey Singh introduced his wife to the audience in an episode of a reality show India's Rawstar in 2014.
- Talwar has been sharing cryptic posts on her social media for a while hinting towards certain issues. She had shared a post regarding the sexism prevailing the society when it comes to women speaking up about abuse. The post read, "No matter which category of society we belong, rich or poor educated or uneducated, whether you are famous or not the plight of women is the same in the face of atrocities. #harshreality #narcissisticabuse."
- Another post from her profile reads," Never excuse someone's blatant lying. It only proves their lack of character, integrity, deceitfulness and evil mindset."
- Yo Yo Honey Singh is known for his songs from the film Cocktail starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and others. His song Saiyaan Ji was released in January, this year. He collaborated with singer-rapper and Nushrratt Bharucha for the fourth time after this song. Some of their previous sings were Chote chote peg and Dil chori.
