On Tuesday, Amanda Serrano along with more than two dozen former and current female boxers issued a statement demanding a choice to fight in title tournaments for 12 3-minute rounds equal to their male counterparts and their tournaments.

Boxer Amanda Serrano said, "We are advocating for the ability to choose."
Retired fighter Laila Ali, daughter of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali and Britain's two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas also gave their name to the statement.
