However, strongly opposing her father's imposed marriage, the woman took a bold step by confessing that she was already married to her second husband. She even tied a rakhi on him—an act traditionally exchanged between brothers and sisters. However, alongside her gesture, she also claimed that this man had harassed her. As a result, she now desires to reunite with her first husband, whom she willingly married.

Rajasthan Woman Ties Rakhi On Second Husband

Taruna Sharma and Surendra Sankhla, childhood classmates from Balesar, Rajasthan, embarked on a journey of love and commitment. Despite their deep connection, their union faced resistance from Sharma's father due to Sankhla's different community background.

After completing their college education, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level and got married. However, their happiness was short-lived as, just ten days after their wedding, Sharma's family tracked them down. They were forcibly taken to the local police station in Balesar, where they were cruelly separated by the woman's family.

The woman claimed her family had imprisoned her for the previous five months in various Gujarati and Rajasthani cities. She was prohibited from using phones and was unable to communicate with anyone. When the young man Taruna was originally engaged to in Rajasthan turned out to be a criminal, the engagement was broken off. She got married to Jitendra Joshi on May 1, whom she later claimed tortured her.

She was recently receiving treatment at a hospital in Raipur when she borrowed a phone and dialled her first husband. She also tweeted the story on Twitter, where it was widely shared.

Additionally, the woman tied a rakhi (molly) to her second husband despite the new couple's differing opinions. The woman claimed she tied the rakhi to Jitendra Joshi, her second husband, to persuade him to allow her to remarry her first husband, but Joshi claimed that his wife was attempting to blackmail him in various ways. He claimed he tied the rakhi to prevent her from doing so.

Roshan Kaushik, the in-charge of the Antagarh police station, reported that the woman had been sent to the 'Sakhi One Stop Centre' in Chhattisgarh's Kanker.
