Woman Sends Garbage Bags As Gift To Ex, Internet Has A Field Day

Breakups can be hard, and almost everyone can relate to how tempting it would be to want to lash out at your ex like Geet from Jab We Met. One woman found a different way to get back at her ex with a little help from an online delivery mart service.

A post has been going viral on Twitter showing a woman sending a gift to her ex-boyfriend through Swiggy Instamart.

A Twitter user named Naman shared a screenshot of the message and the "gift" his roommate received from his ex-girlfriend. The message was sent by a woman named Diya. It read, "Sent you something from Instamart; wear it with love. If it doesn’t fit, then let me know; I’ll send you bigger ones."

And guess what the gift was? A pack of medium-sized garbage bags. The Twitter user shared a screenshot of the message his roommate received from his ex-girlfriend. He also shared an image of the box of garbage bags the girl had sent through Swiggy Instamart.

Posting the photos, the user wrote, "My roommate’s ex sent this to him, and I can’t stop laughing."

The tweet, which was posted on July 18, has garnered almost 9.5K likes and over 3 Lakh views on the microblogging site. Naman, then, sent an update in the thread writing, "he is now crying after four beers." Another user commented, "I have to order bigger ones for mine."

The comment section has been overflowing with amused responses, including one from the official handle of Swiggy Instamart. "Wanted to offer a bandage but Itne bade zakham ke liya toh vo bhi choti padegi (Wanted to offer a bandage but it might be inadequate for such a huge dig)," read Swiggy Instamart’s response.

A lot of users praised Diya for her savage move, and some even expressed their desire to try the same method to get over their past relationship. A few sympathised with the boyfriend. Some users also tweeted that they found the tweet extremely hilarious and couldn’t stop laughing.
