Karnataka Woman Rescues Husband And Brother From Bear Attack

A remarkable display of bravery unfolded as a 35-year-old woman came to the rescue of her husband and brother during a vicious sloth bear attack on their farm in Haveri, Karnataka. With quick thinking and immense courage, she managed to kill one of the bears, saving the lives of both men. 

Although the injured men were admitted to the hospital, their condition is now stable, and they are on the path to recovery. The woman's heroic actions forced the other two bears, including the bear's cubs, to flee the farm in fear of further retaliation from humans.

In a display of incredible courage, the woman confronted the bear armed with an axe, causing it to retreat while sustaining injuries. Subsequently, the wounded sloth bear was discovered lifeless in close proximity to the farm.

This remarkable incident unfolded on Saturday, June 24, when Basirsab Savadatti from Basavanakatti and Razaq Nalaband from Mundagod were being attacked by three bears, one of which was the parent, on the farm. The woman's fearless act effectively intervened in the dangerous situation, resulting in the bear's retreat and eventual demise.

In a swift response to the perilous situation, Sabina, the courageous woman, immediately took action upon witnessing the bears attacking her husband and brother. With remarkable bravery, she swiftly struck one of the bears with an axe, causing it to sustain injuries. As a result of her intervention, the other two bears fled the scene after encountering resistance from her husband and injured brother.

Sabina recounted the harrowing incident, stating that the bears had inflicted severe injuries on her husband and brother. Acting swiftly and without hesitation, she bravely wielded the axe, successfully injuring one of the bears. Reflecting on her courageous act, Sabina expressed astonishment at finding the inner strength to confront such a dangerous situation. Fortunately, both her brother and husband are now out of immediate danger, as confirmed by Sabina.

By fearlessly confronting the bears and using an axe to fend them off, she successfully safeguarded her husband and brother from further harm. Sabina's remarkable act of selflessness serves as a powerful reminder of the incredible strength that can emerge in moments of adversity.
