Bengaluru Woman Loses Money In Ludo
A year ago, the woman had allegedly lost Rs. 50,000 in online gaming and pledged her gold jewellery worth Rs. 1.25 lakh to continue playing.
However, she kept losing the game. Yet she borrowed Rs. 1.75 lahks from her relatives without her husband's knowledge to continue playing the game. When her husband discovered the truth, she promised him that it would never happen again. However, earlier this July, the woman pawned her gold for Rs.120,000 lakhs in order to play the game. Upon discovering this, the husband intervened, informed her parents of the same, and advised her not to continue playing the game.
On August 8, the husband dropped his elder child back home from school at around 3 PM and left for work. When he tried calling his wife at around 4.45 PM, she didn’t pick up. The phone seemed to be switched off.
Worrying about his family's well-being, the husband came home and saw the main door locked. He opened the door with his keys and saw a note in the living room. In the note, the wife apologised to him for taking the money kept at home. The woman had taken along both her children and all the money kept at home. The search for the woman and the children is underway.
