A Malaysian woman named Angeline Francis prioritised her long-standing romantic relationship with Jedidiah Francis over her substantial family inheritance, which amounted to approximately Rs 2,484 crore.

Daughter of business magnate Khoo Kay Peng and former Miss Malaysia Pauline Chai, Francis made the resolute decision to marry her beloved Jedidiah rather than continue to be part of her family's business and wealth.

When Angeline informed her parents about her relationship with Jedidiah, her father's objections due to their differing financial statuses led her to choose a different path.
