Three transgender doctors joined a Telangana government hospital. The hospital, Osmania General Hospital had a vacancy for three medical officers.
Superintendent of Osmania General Hospital, Doctor Nagender said the hospital wanted to give priority to the transgender community and the HIV-affected medical profession.
Two transwomen doctors and one HIV-affected medical officer were hired.
Woman Gives Birth On Local Train
On Friday, December 2, 33-year-old Priya Wakchoure and her mother boarded a local train to Kalyan hospital, where the delivery was scheduled.
At 4:30 am, Wakchoure started having labour pains and her water broke while she was on the local train. Mayur Pawar, Wakchoure's brother was waiting at the station and said, "the baby was partially out, and all the women in the compartment started assisting in the delivery".

Noida Woman Fakes Her Death
A Noida woman faked her own death by murdering another woman, dressing the body in her clothes, maiming her face to make identification difficult, and writing a fake suicide note.
The accused, Payal Bhati and her partner Ajay Thakur allegedly murdered Hema Chaudhary. The police wrongly identified the body as Payal Bhati based on the clothing and Bhati's relatives performed the last rites.
Police revealed that Bhati's parents died by suicide six months prior and that Bhati held some of her relatives responsible. According to the police, Bhati wanted to fake her death so she could plan out more murders.
Senior Official Saumya Chaurasia Detained By Enforcement Directorate
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) detained a senior official in Chhattisgarh on suspicion of money laundering. The ED detained Saumya Chaurasia, the deputy secretary to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
The ED detained Sameer Vishnoi and two others in October after raids were conducted in the money laundering case.
72-Year-Old Woman Turns Off Roommate's Ventilator
An elderly German woman who was a patient at a hospital was accused of attempted manslaughter after she turned off her roommate's ventilator.
The hospitalised woman turned off a fellow patient's ventilator because she was annoyed by the sound. Fortunately, the doctors revised her in time and informed the elderly woman that the oxygen was keeping the patient alive and that she should not turn the ventilator off again.
The woman proceeded to turn off the ventilator again and the hospital staff rushed to her aid. Soon after, the staff informed the police and necessary authorities about the incident.
Afghan Women Lashed For Shopping Without Male Guardian
A video shared on Twitter by Shabnam Nasimi, an Afghanistani refugee in the United Kingdom and former policy advisor at the UK ministry showed Afghani women being lashed.
Nasimi wrote in the caption, "This is the Taliban brutally lashing a woman in Takhar province for going to the shop without a male guardian.
