Woman Gets A First-Class Trip To Travel Anywhere In The World

An employee of Delta Airlines has been given the gifted a first-class trip to travel anywhere in the world. This comes after she recovered from COVID-19 after 115 days.

Janice Cockfield was the lucky person who got this amazing offer. Her twin sister Janese did everything to bring back her sister who was in a coma 600 miles away. Both the sisters broke down while they narrated their never-ending exhausting experiences with Brooke Baldwin from CNN.

Battling Covid-19

Janice revealed about the 115 days she spent in the hospital and some rehabilitation clinics. She contracted the disease in March and had to endured a coma for 57 long days. Her story grabbed headlines after both she and her sister were featured in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Janese spoke about how she refused to believe the fact that her sister would never come back again. The doctors treating Janice told her that she would die soon.

However, her general practitioner made her feel positive and helped her through the ordeal.

The Surprise

The sisters never believed that there was a massive surprise waiting for them. After the interview, they received a message from Ed Bastian, the CEO of Delta Airlines.

The CEO's statement revealed that the entire company was praying for Janice's recovery. He also said that Janice was a 'miracle' and that he was proud of her 'strength.' It said:

"Also let her know I can't wait to send her and her sister on a first class trip, on me, anywhere in the world we fly when she's able to travel. Merry Christmas!" 

The sisters were moved by Bastian's thoughtful gesture and thanked him profusely. The also promised to inform the CNN interviewer about when and where they would be travelling.

Finally, they stressed on the need to wear masks. "You won't ever want to have to deal with this in your life. Just wear the masks."
