There have been several instances of travellers discovering unwanted surprises in their meals, such as hair or cockroaches. However, one woman found a tooth in her food.
The woman claimed she found a tooth in the packed meal served on a flight. A passenger on a flight from London to Dubai took to Twitter to share a picture of a tooth in a packed meal served on a flight.
The passenger tagged the airline she travelled with and wrote, “still waiting to hear from you regarding this dental implant we found in our food… This is appalling.”
The Twitter user added that she was unable to get through to anyone from the airline’s call centre.

The woman posted a picture of a dental implant wrapped in a napkin alongside an in-flight meal consisting of rice and broccoli.
The passenger also mentioned that the pictured tooth did not come from her own mouth and said, "We all have our teeth: it's not ours".
The airline replied to the Tweet with, “Hi there, we’re really sorry to see this! Did you give our cabin crew your details for our Customer Relations team to contact you? For security, please send us any personal details by DM”.
However, netizens were not impressed by the airline’s response and were appalled by the tooth found in the meal.
One Twitter user responded to the picture of the tooth in the meal and wrote, “Can I see more of it? I’m a dental implant specialist and I’m really curious”.
Meanwhile, another Twitter was confused about how a dental implant ended up in the packed food. The netizen said, “I think, it’s some mischief, you can get stones, cockroach, insects, even small rodents, human hair, but why would implant get into food like this”.
One user said that the tooth in the packed food was “unbelievable”, but added that if the incident was real then it was “disgusting”.
Meanwhile, another user claimed that earlier this year, in July 2022, they had found half a razor blade in their pasta meal.
This does not mark the first time an unwanted object was found in an in-flight meal. In October, an Indian airline claimed that what a passenger thought was a cockroach in one of the inflight meals was actually a piece of sauteed ginger.
