Viral: Woman Complains Of Buzzing Sound, Finds Spiders In Ear

As kids, we are often told to brush our teeth properly, clean our ears and nose and maintain good hygiene. As adults, we tend to forget those kindergarten hygiene habits which might have a drastic impact on our health. In a similar incident, a woman's lack of ear hygiene habits got her into a rather troubling situation.

We have heard many incidents of people getting bizarre ailments for not taking care of their body properly. There have been cases of worms crawling in skin, maggots found in the head and even more gross incidents that reminded us of the importance of health and hygiene. Recently, another such troubling case was reported from China where a woman found that there were spiders living in her ears. Yes, you read that right, live spiders.

Woman Finds Spider In Ear

A Chinese woman visited the Huidong County People’s Hospital in Sichuan, China on April 20 with the complaint of hearing a buzzing sound in her ears along with pain. Doctors initially thought it to be tinnitus and sent her for an endoscopy. When they inserted the endoscopic tube in her ear, they saw the eardrum and everything seemed normal. However, they saw something moving behind the eardrum which is unusual. They later realised it was a false eardrum when something attacked the tube. It was a spider trying to escape the ear and the false eardrum was its web.

The doctors carefully took the spider out and checked if it was poisonous. Luckily, it wasn't and the woman suffered only minor ear canal damages and nothing toxic in particular. After the incident, the doctors advised people to take good care of their hygiene and make sure that their ears and other body parts are clean because they can become a breeding site for creatures like spiders.

A few days back, another similar video of a spider crawling out of a woman's ear went viral on the internet which disgusted the users but also made them aware of the risks improper personal care and hygiene can bring upon.
