The post that was shared on Wednesday met with a lot of divided opinions by the netizens as few backed the woman calling out the food-delivery app while others slammed her.
A user questioned how is it the company's fault as they delivered the sealed food:
I personally think a cockroach inside a food is a restaurant issue than a delivery issue. Zomato or swiggie orders are generally sealed for delivery. But yes, I could be wrong In this specific incident.

Another opined that it was not Zomato's fault and the restaurant must be penalised.
Really how is it Zomato's fault. The outlet should be penalized for this. Was there any issue with the delivery or response by Zomato. Zomato delivers sealed food packets and chances of a cockroach slipping in during delivery are minimal. @zomato

While a user slammed Zomato, Swiggy, Ola and others for providing poor services without having a double check one user also wrote a bad experience with the restaurant's food.
i think this e orders on zomato , swiggi or ola, they give customer worst service as they do not have a check who is preparing the food or who is giving a Taxi, the quality of the restaurant or kitchen or a car has to be checked by some ISO company than only they should b taken

Meanwhile, this is not the first time a Zomato customer has found an insect in their food as a similar incident occurred with a woman in Banglore who received a cockroach in her chicken fried rice order delivered through Zomato. The user named Harshita took the incident to X, putting light on the case as she stated she felt "absolutely disgusted".
