A woman roadside vendor and her four-year-old were injured after an unidentified man threw acid at the woman in Bharat Nagar, Delhi.
The roadside vendor was setting up her products at the weekly market when the acid attack took place. Both mother and son were treated at a hospital for burn injuries and the woman reported the attack to the police after returning from the hospital.

Woman Arrested Over Fake Rape Case Against 2 Men
A 22-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly falsely accusing two men of gangraping her. The police said she allegedly extorted 2 lakh rupees from them for withdrawing her complaint.
According to the police, when the woman was produced in court to record her statement she retracted her statement. The police got the information that she had filed a similar rape complaint earlier and started an investigation and found her allegations to be false.
