Who was Gleycy Correia? News has surfaced on the internet that former Miss Brazil Gleycy Correia passed away at the age of 27 after complications in her routine tonsillitis surgery. Gleycy Correia a model, and influencer, with over 56k followers on Instagram, has succumbed to her post-surgery complications.

Former Miss Brazil Gleycy Correia died at the age of 27 after she underwent routine tonsil surgery two months ago. Post-surgery she suffered a brain hemorrhage and a heart attack on April 4 and had been in a comatose state since. She succumbed to her complications and passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, after being in a coma for over 77 days.

Family Pastor Lidiane Alves spoke about her untimely death and said, “We're deeply saddened by this loss. She was an amazing woman and much loved by everyone. It won't be easy to live without her smile and shine.”

2. She was a model, beautician, and influencer. Reports reveal that she started working very early on in life after getting a job as a manicurist at a beauty salon.

6. Ever since the model slipped into a coma, her Instagram had been handled by her family. The news of her death was also confirmed on her Instagram stories.

9. Gleycy's funeral was held on Tuesday, where she was put to rest by her close friends and family. Fans have been pouring condolences in thousands all over her social media pages.
