Who Is Versha Sharma: Versha Sharma, the managing editor of news outlet NowThis, has now become the new editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue.
This has happened after Alexi McCammond controversial resignation from the post. The news about Sharma's appointment was announced during a press on Monday.
“Versha is a natural leader with a global perspective and deep understanding of local trends and issues — from politics and activism to culture and fashion — and their importance to our audience,” said Anna Wintour, Vogue's global editorial director and Condé Nast's chief content officer, in a press release.
“She is a masterful storyteller who can move from platform to platform with ease, and I am excited by her optimistic and expansive vision for Teen Vogue."
Versha Sharma then expressed her gratitude for for the same on her official Twitter handle.

Who Is Versha Sharma?
- Versha Sharma is a writer, reporter, producer, editor and manager.
- She graduated in political science, history, communications from the Centenary College of Louisiana from 2004-2007.
- She then subsequently started working as a communication and research intern at The Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations.
- After that, she became the field organiser for 'Obama For America'. She was involved in data entry, volunteer recruitment, phone banking, etc.
- Then in 2009, Versha Sharma became a media assistant for 'Francisco Moya for City Council.' She contributed to teh copy and design of the Council's website, and held debates and workshops with Charles O'Byrne.
- Versha was then hired as a news writer and front page editor for TPM Media LLC. She then became the associate publisher, and manager of ad operations and sales support.
- Then in 2012, she became a reporter for Vocativ. She was also a contributing writer for MSNBC.
- In 2014, Versha Sharma joined NowThis as a serial editorial producer. She soon became the managing editor, and senior correspondent at the company. She has earned a name as a digital journalist, and known for her reports on the Trump administration.
