Who is Seema Singh: A case was reportedly registered against the Uttar Pradesh women state president of Ambedkarite organisation Bhim Army after a video of her allegedly issuing threats to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went viral on social media this week.
Reports suggest police in Bareilly have taken cognisance of the issue and applied relevant sections of the Information Technology (IT) Act in probing the case.
Identifying herself as Seema Singh, the woman in the two-minute 20 seconds clip makes remarks against the UP Superintendent of Police and the Deputy Superintendent of Police saying she will "break their rank stars with her hands and hang them in the middle of the street."
She is further heard saying she will plant a bomb on Adityanath, and demands he stop atrocities against Dalits. "Teri Thakur-giri nikaal doongi," she adds. She points to her face and asks him to remember it for the coming future.
