After posting a picture with her supposed "black boyfriend", Bill Gates' youngest daughter has become the latest "source" of online trolls spewing racist slurs. The 19-year-old Phoebe Gates posted a “happy picture” with a black man seen to be “kissing her cheek” while they were sitting side by side. The picture was shared on Instagram. 

The intimate moment, their inter-racial friendship, and the wealthy father of the Stanford University student quickly became the subject of online jokes. Although it's not apparent if the two are dating, trolls nonetheless commented on the post.

Children of Bill and his wife Melinda attended Seattle's exclusive Lakeside High School, where their father graduated. The Professional Children's School in New York City, which caters to professional or aspiring young actors and dancers, accepted aspiring ballerina Phoebe as a student. She also attended the renowned Juilliard School and The School of American Ballet at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. 

Media reports that the couple's decision to split up appears to be related to their youngest daughter, Phoebe, turning 18. Absolutely, as the plan was for them to remain together through the graduation of their youngest child from high school.

Phoebe is reportedly not as interested in her father's business as she is most passionate about the arts. She started taking dancing courses when she was a young child and now studies ballet. She has taken instruction from the esteemed Julliard School. She is a student at the exclusive Lakeside School right now.

With the appearance of the picture, Twitter was quick to respond to rumours that Phoebe might be seeing a black man. Many chose to make crass jokes about how she claimed, her boyfriend is only exploiting her for her father's money, according to Daily Mail. The Daily Mail also highlighted that one of the many trolls wrote, "Her net worth projected $130 Billion. I don't think he is her equal or they are doing 50/50. Just my guess tho."
