Who Is Kelly Stoetzel? TED Talk Veteran Hired By Clubhouse

Clubhouse's latest hire, the 17-year-old TED veteran, Kelly Stoetzel is in the news.

She will lead efforts to recruit “thoughtful people” including authors, scientists, academics and other creatives to use the app’s interactive audio rooms to their team.

Who is Kelly Stoetzel?

• Stoetzel was born and raised in Dallas. She completed her education there and was working as a saleswoman of contemporary art. At which she confesses that she wasn't great.
• Kelly Stoetzel had heard about TED Talks about only attended one at the age of 31. She reportedly admitted that she doesn't even remember who the speaker was of her first TED Talk.
• After her that, she attended several TED Talks and it became her side passion says, Stoetzel..
•  Stoetzel was so moved by a TED Talk that she quit her job as a salesperson and persuaded the owner of TED Chris Anderson to hire her.
• Under Stoetzel's watch, TED has achieved more than a billion views on their page.
• Stoetzel, who lives in rural Pennsylvania with her 9-year-old daughter and husband, an artist, reportedly commutes five hours total to TED's New York offices some three times a week.
• Recently, Clubhouse has hired Kelly Stoetzel, a 17-year veteran of TED and the executive responsible for lining up the company’s famous TED Talks.
