A dentist based in Delhi, Dimple Chawla succumbed to COVID-19 last month. The virus caused not just her demise, but also her unborn baby's. Chawla was seven months pregnant when she contracted the virus. Following the loss of his wife and child, Ravish Chawla took to Twitter to share a video that took social media by storm.

1. On Mother's Day, as the internet flooded with sweet hopes for the long lives of mothers everywhere, a Twitter user named Ravish Chawla posted a wish for his wife, who only days prior succumbed to COVID-19. "She was completely devoted to motherhood," he wrote.
2. Dr Dimple Chawla tested positive for COVID-19 on April 11. She was seven months pregnant at the time. Ten days later, her condition deteriorated as oxygen levels dipped. She was admitted to hospital for treatment. Tragically, the couple lost their unborn baby on April 25. A day later, Chawla passed too.
3. A video she made on April 17, some days after having tested positive for COVID-19, was shared by her husband online after her death. Originally meant as a precautionary video for her kin, it has now reached masses on the internet, documenting the severity of the virus.
4. "I am making this video with great difficulty... please don’t take corona so lightly. Very bad, very bad symptoms. I am not able to speak… Please wear mask… for your near ones’ and dear ones’ safety," Chawla, 34, can be heard saying.

5. She is survived by her husband and a son aged three years. "It was her message and you should be wearing a mask not just for yourself but for the elderly or pregnant women," her husband said.
