Who Is Anupama Nadella ? Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella And Wife Lose Their 26-Year-Old Son

Who Is Anupama Nadella: Zain Nadella, son of Satya and Anupama Nadella, passed away on Monday morning. He was 26 and born with cerebral Palsy. Microsoft shared the information with its executive staff via email. Through the mail, it also urged the staff to give the family space to grieve privately.

Jeff Sperring, CEO of Children’s Hospital, wrote in a message, “Zain will be remembered for his eclectic taste in music, his bright sunny smile, and the immense joy he brought to his family and all those who loved him.”

• Anupama Priyadarshini is the wife of Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft.
• She married him in 1992.
• The couple has three kids.
• Zain was their eldest child and was very passionate about music. He was born weighing just three pounds, suffered asphyxiation in utero; as a result, he is visually impaired, has limited communication, and is quadriplegic. Zain was very passionate about music.
• In an interview, she talked about raising a child with special needs. She said, "Having a child with special needs is isolating. Talking about it opened several doors. This shared experience with similar families was invaluable. In accessing programs for children with disabilities I met exceptional people involved in helping others. This support system not only embraced our family but also taught us to step in to help others — sometimes just by listening.”
• The couple has two daughters also.
• Her husband Satya Nadella has worked towards designing products focusing especially on users having disabilities.
• She is an alumna of Hyderabad Public School.
• Anupama Nadella was in news for donating Rs 2 crores in 2020 for a project to promote alternate/additional livelihood for women and farmworkers in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh.  This was on the occasion of the first death anniversary of former IAS officer B.N. Yugandhar. He was a native of Bukkapauram village in the district.
• She also donated Rs 2 crore for PM Modi's fund during the pandemic.
