Wakro Sisters Singing Tamil Patriotic Song
After witnessing two sisters from Arunachal Pradesh perform a Tamil patriotic song, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his happiness via social media. Prime Minister expressed his joy and pride after witnessing Arunachali sisters singing a Tamil national anthem in a tweet.

He tweeted, "I am delighted and proud to see this. Kudos to these shining stars of our Yuva Shakti from Arunachal Pradesh for furthering the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' by singing in Tamil."

Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, posted the video first on his Twitter account. In the tweet, he said, "Listen to Arunachali Sisters sing a Tamil patriotic song written by Subramanya Bharati."Subramania Bharathiyar, an Indian independence activist and Tamil writer, is the author of the patriotic song.

Ashapmai Dellang and Kumari Behelti Ama were the sisters, according to Khandu, who also said that the Carnatic vocal performance was in honour of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a government of India's endeavour to celebrate and remember 75 years of freedom

The original video from the programme features Wakro sisters, Ashampmai Dellang and Kumari Behelti Ama singing Carnatic Vocal in the video, which also features Jikeshen Pul on Harmonium and Subhendu Manna on Tabla. The video is 24 minutes long and is available on YouTube.

Arunachal CM, Khandu posted a video earlier this year of a Monpa musician singing and playing the dramyin, a six-stringed lute used in traditional Himalayan folk music. The musician was from the Monpa Institute of Performing Arts (MIPA), according to the Arunachal chief minister, and he was photographed in Bongleng village, which is in the Tawang district, not far from the Bhutan border.
