Love You Zindagi COVID patient passes away: A 30-year-old patient whose video went viral recently, succumbed to the disease on May 13. Dr Monika Langeh, who had originally  posted the viral video featuring the song Love You Zindagi,  took to Twitter to announce that the COVID patient from the heartwarming viral video has died on May 13.

On May 8, Dr Langeh had shared a video of a COVID patient from the emergency ward who was swaying to the tune of Love You Zindagi from Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi. The doctor wrote that the woman in the video is 30 years old and has been taken care of in the emergency ward for the past ten days as she could not get an ICU bed. “She is on NIV support, received Remedesivir, plasma therapy etc. She is a strong girl with strong will power and asked me to play some music and I allowed her. Lesson: Never lose hope,” Dr Langeh added.

Ever since the video went viral, Dr, Langeh has been giving updates on the condition of the young patient. A few days after this heartwarming video, she shared that her condition was not stable even though she got an ICU bed and requested people to pray for her. She also revealed that the patient was a mother to a young child.

On May 13, Dr Langeh shared the tragic news of her death. “Unfortunately, she couldn’t make it. I am very sorry..we lost the brave soul” she tweeted. She also requested people to pray fro her family and child.

Social media users mourned the loss of the 30-year-old in the comments and expressed their heartbreak over the situation. One user also tweeted that the woman in the video will be remembered whenever the song is played in the future. “The song is hers now. May her family gather strength to overcome this,” the user wrote.

In a separate piece the doctor also went on to request media channels to not approach her for interviews. "i am not in the state to talk about this at the moment," she said, requesting the same for her family. "Please be ethical and have some moral responsibility.They have lost their family member ,a charming soul . Please feel their pain."
